LESLIE  HINTON  STOKES

Son of Mr Burton Stokes and Mrs Martha Ann Stokes.  The husband of Mrs Gertrude Mary Stokes of Berrylands, Surbiton, Surrey.  Gunner 1796232 in the 240^th Battery, 39^th Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery.   Died on 25 August 1944, aged 24.  Buried in Florence War Cemetery, Italy.
